How it works

Drop the file

CSV or Excel straight from your shop export, a supplier or a spreadsheet. The encoding, delimiter and platform are detected automatically.

Review the problems

Each problem shows the line the platform would report, the column, the value and what it becomes. Switch off any fix you don't want.

Download a clean file

UTF-8 or Windows-1250, comma or semicolon, CSV or XLSX — preset for your platform so the import goes through.

Amazon inventory file errors

Amazon's category templates (flat files) are checked as they are: the template row and the labels above the header, tab separators, product IDs and variations. Upload the .txt you send to Seller Central or the Excel template itself; the fixed file keeps rows 1–3 as Amazon expects them.

Error 8560: SKU does not match any ASIN

Exact error message

  • SKU … does not match any ASIN. Creation of a new ASIN requires the following missing attributes: standard_product_id…

Amazon couldn't match the row to an existing product and doesn't have enough to create a new one. In most files the cause is the product ID: external_product_id is empty, Excel turned the barcode into 5.90123E+12 or dropped its leading zero, the check digit is wrong, or external_product_id_type doesn't match the number (13 digits sent as UPC).

The tool checks every UPC, EAN, GTIN and ISBN for length and GS1 check digit, strips spaces, dashes and ".0", restores a lost leading zero when the check digit then agrees, sets the ID type from the ID, and flags IDs used by two SKUs. A wrong check digit is never guessed: it's listed for you to correct from the product's barcode. Parent and child rows are checked too.

If every ID is valid and the error stays, the cause is outside the file: products without barcodes need a GTIN exemption, and some categories don't let new sellers create ASINs.
